I love Billy Joel and I always have as far back as I can remember. His songs always seem to be knocking around at one point or another in my memories of childhood. Between my aunt in New York playing his music constantly, the radio playing his music constantly and me playing his music constantly, it was inevitable for that sound to become a part of me. Now aside from the Piano Man album, I was largely familiar with the hit songs as a youngster. As I grew older and developed as a musician, I delved into the full album work of Billy Joel and I discovered a monstrous collection of deep cuts wrought with brilliant harmony, grooves, lyrics and bravado. I became even more smitten with Billy Joel and grew to respect him as a musician on a very deep level,

It is my hope that this humble little collection may serve as a respectful tribute to one of the finest songwriters of our time.
